THE AUCKLAND MEETING
The two-day meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club will open at Epsom tomorrow and conclude on Monday. Big fields are engaged, and it will be necessary to run the Improvers' Handicap in two divisions. Win-and-place betting will operate, and the first race is set down for 11.30 a.m. Horses likely to be favoured are: —
11.30: Waitemata Handicap (l£m.).— Red Surprise, Etta Girl, Paiahua 12.15: Improvers'"Handicap (l£m.).— First division: Numba, Pinocchio. Second division: Sumana, Ringstone. 1.5: October Handicap dim.).—Hilda Potts-Karnak bracket, Brungasta, Gwen Grattan. 150: Jellicoe Handicap dim.). — Sabu. Isabella Pointer, 'Te Roto. 2.35: Stewards' Handicap (2m.).— Parrish Lad, Princess Linnet, Silhouette. 3.20: Mountain Handicap (ljm.).— Wee Pandora-Steel King bracket, Ordnance, Sea Wolf. 4.5: Parnell Handicap dim.).— Flower Potts, Parshall, Josette. 4.55: Electric Handicap dim.).—Te Roto, Kete Kura, Our Peggy.
