DESTRUCTION OF OFFENSIVE ODOURS
(Rec. 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, Oct. 22. Three industrial chemists have de* veloped an inexpensive chemical conw pound which destroys any known ofj fensive odour, says the "New Yorli; Herald Tribune." The compound successfully overcomes olfactory offender! like the skunk, the stench of bombs, ■ the odour of fish and butchers' shops, and the cooking of cabbage.
