BUSH FIRE DAMAGE IN CALIFORNIA

A vast bush fire which raged for, three days devasated wide areas in the Santa Monica Mountains, California, leaving scores of persons burned or injured, including 12 who are seriously affected. Twenty-five homr.?>, including pretentious mansions, wera destroyed. Fires continue to rage in the Mai pt Hills, further west, forcing thousa:.df of people temporarily to evacu iiie threatened areas.
