FOOD FOR BRITONS

REDUCTION EXPECTED

LONDON, September 24. The next 12 months are going to bring big changes in the British food ration. This warning was given by the Minister of Food, Lord Woolton, today. He said Britain could not fight a more and more vigorous war and keep the same standards of living. There would have to be a considerable change in the matter of food. More people were \yanted for the armed forces and their call-up would disturb a number of industries connected with food production. People's health should not suffer in the slightest, and when the war ended they would be at least as healthy as when it started.
