BULGARIAN SABOTAGE
MACEDONIAN REVOLT
ANKARA, September 14. The Gestapo is being sent to Bulgaria to deal with a wave of sabotage. At Plovdiv the telephone exchange was put out of action and a German troop train derailed. The Germans are reported to have disbanded several Bulgarian regiments after alleging that they were harbouring officers sympathetic to Russia. Bulgarian Jews are prohibited from possessing radio gets. Bulgarian Macedonia is reported to be in complete revolt. A state of siege has been proclaimed at Skoplje and district, where revolutionary groups are terrorising the population. Bulgarian officials have been killed in several towns. German circles allege that the Russians are supplying the rebels with ammunition and food from the air.
