BIG GUNS IN ACTION ACROSS
CHANNEL
i (Rec. 12.45 p.m.) LONDON Aug. 13. A news agency message reports that : a few night raiders flew over East Anglia and dropped bombs at scattered points, including the Greater London area, in which seven persons i were killed and throe induced. A ■ single flight raider bombed two points on the south-eastern coast of Scotland. A German fighter-bomber raided a town on the south coast in daylight, injuring three persons. Big guns on both sides of the, Channel -were in action last night, contributing to one of the noisiest nights the Straits of Dover have experienced.
