LATEST ATTACKS

RAILWAYS IN FRANCE

DISORGANISED

(Rec. 11.40 a.m.) RUGBY, July 28. It is officially stated that single aircraft of the Bomber Command again attacked targets in Germany during daylight today. Railways in occupied France which are carrying war material for the enemy were disorganised last night by aircraft of the Fighter Command. Engine after engine drawing goods trains on the network railways around Paris and in the big industrial areas of Lille were shot up. Many were disabled, and their long lines of wagons blocked the permanent ways, throwing traffic out of gear for miles.—B.O.W.
