SALE OF LIQUOR
FARMERS' RESOLUTION
(P.A.) DARGAVILLE, This Day. At a meeting of the Northern Wairoa Sub-provincial Executive of the New Zealand Farmers' Union at Dargaville yesterday the following resolution was passed unanimously: "That the Government be requested to provide that production of, and facilities for, the sale of liquor in New Zealand be restricted for the period of the war with a view to improving the efficiency of the war effort and conserving grain, sugar, and other supplies for essential purposes."
