UNDER ATTACK AGAIN

JAPANESE AT RABAUL

(Rec. 10.45 a.m.) RUGBY, Feb. 27 An air communique issued in Melbourne today stated that the R.A.A.F. made another raid on Rabaul before midnight last night. Some planes attacked the wharves and shipping and enemy installations inland, and others attacked Japanese-occupied aerodromes, damaging the runways. The R.A.A.F. successfully dived to attack ships, fired buildings, and probably destroyed and damaged Japanese planes on the ground. The pilots reported sighting fierce fires.

Despite the enemy attempts to intercept them all the machines re-turned.—-8.0.W.
