CHAMPIONSHIP PAIRS

For the senii-flnal and final of the Wellington Bowling Centre's championship pairs the conditions today were excellent. The games were played on the Karori Bowling Club's green., Hutt and Wellington contest tho final this afternoon. The others in the semi-final were Wellington, Hataitai, and Lyall Bay. Sentences of two months' imprisonment were imposed upon Albert Gordon Woi-boys and John Gibson, who appeared before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today, charged with failure to report for military service. James Alexander Wilson was sentenced to one month's imprisonment for failure to enrol.
