SHIRTCLIFFE AWARDS
The committee for the award of Shirtcliffe Scholarships has resolved that the name of P. B. de la Mare, Victoria University College, be placed first for the Shirtcliffe Fellowship. No award was made this year for the Shirtcliffe Scholarship. J. H. Holmes, University of Otago, is awarded the Shirtcliffe Graduate Bursary.
Buses at Home .have to carry more standing passengers. Single-deckers, for instance, will have wide corridor space between the seats so that 30 people can sit while 30 more straphang.
