WELLINGTON METHODISTS

The Methodist Conference decided today that the Thorndon circuit of the Church shall in future be known as the Wellington West circuit, with the superintendent residing at Karon. Pleasure was expressed at a request from the Wellington East circuit for an additional ordained minister. The appointment with a suitable grant was approved. It was also decided to appoint an extra minister at Lower Hutt. if available.
