U.S EXPEDITIONARY FORCE

LONDON, January 27. A Washington message states that Mr. John M. Robsion (Republican, Kentucky) demanded in the House to be told why an American expeditionary force had been sent to Ireland instead of to the Philippines. He said that Britain had 3,500,000 men armed to the teeth sitting on their bottoms while Germany occupied Russia. "Our hearts are bleeding for General Mac Arthur, yet we send an army, ships, and planes to Ireland," Mr. Robsion said.
