MILITARY CONTROL

POSITION AT MOULMEIN

LONDON, January 27,

It is announced in Rangoon that in preparation for future operations the military authorities have taken over control of Moulmein.

A contingent of Chinese army technicians and railway workers has been sent, on loan to Burma to expedite the clearance of American supplies from Rangoon to China.

It is planned to employ ultimately at least 3000 Chinese in the Rangoon docks.
