POLISH PREMIER
SATISFIED WITH RESULTS OF
TOUR
LONDON, January 6,
The Polish Premier and Commander-in-Chief, General Sikorski, who has arrived from Russia, said: "The agreements with M. Stalin proved that we have come to definite conclusions which mean, action. Britain knows how to couple realism and idealism. The Poles so far have been regarded as a romantic people. Now, however, we enter the sphere of real politics, where only facts count." General Sikorski, who inspected the defences of Gibraltar and Malta and visited the firing line at Tobruk, said he was satisfied with the results of his tour. M. Stalin had assured him that he wanted a strong and independent Poland after the war.
