Barnetfs "The.Ancient Mariner" is to be given at. the. Town Hall this evening, by the Royal , Wellington Choral Union,'under the baton of Mr. Stanley Oliver. Much has been done to make the performance an outstanding one as local performances go. .A splendid chorus has been trained, and is said to be now well at one with the conductor. A. successful final rehearsal took place at the Town-Hall last evening. The soloist/division is a verystrong combination,' and will be^ as follows:—Soprano, Miss „ Olga Burton; contralto, Mrs. Connie Lee; tenor, Mr. Thomas E. West; and baritone, Mr. Ken Macaulay. The doors will ,open at 7.15, and the performance, should' conclude soon after -ten. . ,
