On the occasion of the eighteenth anniversay of the establishment of the Turkish Republic, the King _has sent the following telegram to the President of • Turkey, General Ismet Inonu: "The anniversary proclamation of the Turkish Republic affords me a most welcome opportunity of sending you my warmest greetings and good wishes for your health and happiness and for the welfare and prosperity of your country and the Turkish people."—B.O.W.
