PROSPECT IN BRITAIN

(Rec. 1 p.m.) LONDON, October 6,

The Government is expected to issue a statement soon on the prospects of modifying the black-out of Britain.

The lead has been given by the relaxing of the black-out in Moscow, to which the attention of the Minister of National Security has been drawn.

Sir William Wayland, M.P., has urged Mr. Morrison to introduce a modification of the pre-war system of street lighting.
