DETENTION IN BRITAIN
•RUGBY. October 4. The Home Secretary announced that during July detention orders were made under the defence regulations against seven persons, all of whom are British subjects and four of enemy ongin. Thirty-five persons Were released during July, and on July 31 the total number detained under the regulations was 742.—8.0.W.
