PETROL RATION REDUCED
"A limited amount of petrol will b made available for pleasure craft," th Minister of Supply (Mr. Sullivan! stated today when commenting on th< approaching boating season. "It is difficult to anticipate the futuri petrol position," said Mr. Sullivan "but I feel that so long as we are abli to give petrol to private motorists s limited amount should be made avail able to yachtsmen." ' The same' quantities of petrol wil be issued to launch owners as las* year, subject to the percentage, reductions which apply to private motorists On this basis, therefore, a reductior of .40 per cent, will be made to eacfc of the groups in the schedule used las year.
