YOUTHFUL ORATORS
The annual unprepared speech contest for the Seddon Memorial Cup was held at Wellington College this week. The judge was Mr. R. L. A. Cresswell. There were 19 competitors. R. M. Campion, whose subject was "Dress," won first place. H. C. Lopdell ("Suggestion for the School Concert") and H. L. Peirse ("Music") were bracketed second. H. B. Twaddle ("French") and D. S. MeKenzie ("Dancing") were bracketed third.
