SUPERANNUATED PUBLIC SERVANTS
The annual meeting of. the Superannuated Public Servants' Association was held recently. The president (Mr. H. D. Grocott) said that the membership, which now stood at 1906, was an increase of 139 for the last two years. Officers were elected as follows:— President, Mr. H. D, Grocott; vice--president, Mr. A. W. Burgess; secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. R. Ingram. These with Mr. W. M. Wright, immediate past-president, and delegates from branches comprise the executive committee.
London.—Sir Otto Niemeyer is to head the British economic mission to China. He goes at the invitation of the Chinese Government. Sir Otto has been until recently at Washington conferring with American officials.
