There is news today of more British warships being repaired in American yards.

The British submarine Parthian and the Free French cruiser submarine Surcouf are being repaired at Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and the destroyer Burnham is being repaired at Boston, Massachusetts.

British and Allied warships which have undergone or are undergoing repairs in American yards total 27.

The Surcouf, which has a surface displacement of 2880 tons, is the biggest submarine in the world, and the Burnham is an American destroyer which was among those handed over to Britain. .
