MOTOR PARTS

FREE ACTION WANTED BY

THE TRADE

"The time has been reached when all restrictions should be lifted on the importation of spare parts," states the annual report of the New Zealand Motor Trade Federation, which was tabled at the annual conference yesterday. "Supplies are so difficult to procure and there is such a long delay in securing delivery, that in the federation's opinion all impediments to securing spare parts should be removed. As the vehicles on the road in New "Zealand are becoming more obsolete, wear and tear goes on in a greater degree and it is essential that spare parts should be available in order to cope with this problem. The best way to handle this is to allow the trade free action in the securing of parts from any market that is available.
