MERGER OF BUSINESSES

The secretary, the Stock Exchange, Wellington, has been advised by Imperial Chemical Industries of Australia and New Zealand, Ltd., that Leathercloth Proprietary, Ltd., Industrial Chemicals Proprietary, Ltd., Brunner Mond, and Co. (Australasia) Proprietary, Ltd., and Zanic Proprietary, Ltd., are wholly-owned subsidiary companies of Imperial Chemical Industries of Australia and New Zealand, Ltd. To simplify the structure of the . organisation, it has been decided as from October'l, 1941, to merge .the businesses of these subsidiary companies with that of the parent company. The subsidiaries will be placed in voluntary liquidation on September 30.
