WORKING UNDER CAPITATION
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —In your issue of Tuesday under the heading of "Working Under Capitation," there appears a letter which, apparently from the context, is written by a medical man. Inter alia, he states: "It is curious that in all this Press campaign against the social' security medical benefits no one seems to ask how those like it who have made the experiment." and again: "In the six months during which the capitation scheme has been operating all my expectations were fulfilled and I have no regrets." This anonymous writer signs himself as "Capitation"' Now, Sir, I put it to you and your reading public, if your correspondent has found that this scheme is so exhilarating and of benefit to one and all. that the least he could have done was to extend his knowledge and experience to his colleagues so that they might r too, benefit from it, instead of hiding under a ltom-de-plume, I personally would welcome the benefit of his experience, and dissecting the pros and cons, but I can't get it in touch with "Dr. Capitation."—l am, etc.,
