SUPPORT FOR BILL
(P.A.) PALMERSTON N., Sept. 24. Support for the Social Security Amendment Bill was given by the
Palmerston North branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants. A resolution adopted recorded its attitude, stating, inter alia: "The health of the people is paramount and must be quite apart frcrr; financial considerations. Free education in thu country has produced many doctors, which fact implies a responsibility on the medical profession to the State."
