PLANS IN IRAN

CO-OPERATION WITH OTHER

GOVERNMENTS

LONDON, September 23,

Some of the large-scale reforms to be undertaken by the Government of Iran are outlined in the Teheran newspapers today. Reports say that the Government has decided to overhaul the legal system, the police, and the economic and finance systems. Particular attention will be paid to agriculture and the development of industries not controlled by the State. Improvements in communications, education, and health services are also on the programme. * The reports state that the Government is resolved to consider the interests of Iran and to collaborate closely with Governments whose interests are similar.
