WELLINGTON HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
On Wednesday next the Wellington Horticultural Society will hold its spring show in the Town Hall. The show is to be officially opened at 3 p'm. by his Excellency the GovernorGeneral, who will be accompanied by Lady Newall. In spite of so much wet weather it is anticipated that there will be a fine display of daffodils and other spring flowers. There will be attractive trade displays in addition to the many competitive entries, and the decorative work arranged by the ladies' committee will interest all who attend the show. bFull particulars are advertised. KARORI SHOW. The Karori Horticultural Society's spring show, which is to be held at the Parish Hall, Karori, next Thursday, will be officially opened at 3 p.m. by I Mr. R. A. Wright. Karori usually has late seasons and all the spring favourites will be seen at their best. The. decorative work at Karori, both adult and children, is always a feature. Entries close at the hall at 11 a.m. on Thursday. J - - - - *
