WRESTLING ON MONDAY.
Keen and vigorous wrestling .will be seen at the Wellington Town Hall on Monday night, when Fred Atkins. Australian champion, will meet Joe ,Cqrv bett, U.S.A., in the main event. These two men haVe .distinguished themselves during the present season as_a pair who can be depended upon Jo supply fireworks, as well as scientific exchanges of holds", and the fact that they both like to keep the proceedings moving at a brisk* pace ensures constant action. Atkins's achievements since he arrived from Australia have been notable, and he has not only convincingly disposed of opponents sent in against him. but has also given the crowds the kind of action they like best. Corbett will go into the ring determined that it will be one bout which Atkins will not win, and the victories over leading matmen which are included in his record suggest that he may well be able to do the trick. Monastra and Croskery will meet in the supporting professional bout.
