CANADA & THE WAR
NEW EFFORT FORECAST
NEW YORK, September 7
The Ottawa correspondent of the "New York Times" says the visit of the Canadian Prime Minister, Mr. Mackenzie King, to London has had repercussions that are likely to provoke new liveliness in Canada's conduct of the war. ; :
He himself has obviously been stirred up by his contact with the leaders and people of Britain. When he returns it seems likely that he will find that his London visit and speeches he made have served to galvanise his own countrymen.
People are saying: "We have not begun to fight, and it is time we did."
