FIRE AT NEW YORK PIER
(Rec. 9 a.m.) NEW YORK. Aug. 19. The death roll of the fire at the East River pier here is now seven, with others missing. Sixty persons were injured. The total damage is estimated at 2,000,000 dollars. Reports indicate that a dock employee was smoking on the •IBier and ignited inflammable material.]
