JAPANESE LEAVE AUSTRALIA

(Rec. 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, August 15. The Japanese liner Kasima Maru sailed today with 116 passengers, severing the last shipping link between Australia and Japan. The majority of the Japanese business men expressed deep regret at having to return home, leaving behind all they possessed but what they stood up in. One Japanese national, Mr. S. Fuse,; said he had to thank Australia for giving him his wife, who happened to be a New Zealander. Today was the! fifth anniversary of their'marriage. j
