BRITAIN AND. U.S.A.

Winning War & Ensuring , Peace

LEADERS' DECLARATION

World speculation which has been rife during the last ten days concerning* the meeting* between President Roosevelt and Mr. Winston Churchill was satisfied when Mr. C. R. Attlee, Deputy Prime Minister of Britain, made a World broadcast, heard in New Zealand in the early hours of this morning, stating that the leaders of the two great democracies had met in conference and had. agreed on eight fundamentals for the prosecution of the war and the foundation of peace when victory has been won.
