In the final of the Wellington B grade amateur billiards championship F. Weinberg (Federal) beat W. Higginson (P. and T. Social) by 500 to 418. The best break in an interesting match was a 47 by the winner. The association's president (Mr. A. H. Eaton) paid a tribute, at the conclusion of of the competition, to the contestants, and also thanked Messrs.' Billiards, Ltd., for the facilities provided for the championship.
