Splendid work has been done by the voluntary aides who have been engaged in preparing the new clearing station on Aotea Quay for returning sick and wounded soldiers. In addition to Eed Cross workers, members of the St. John^Voluntary Aid Detachment participated in the general cleaning up in the final stages, and when the station is in occupation thirty aides from each organisation will form the nursing staff. .
