PROGRESS IN ABYSSINIA

Military circles in London note with satisfaction the steady progress that is being made both in Abyssinia and in Irak. • In northern Abyssinia British and Imperial forces are' systematically clearing blocked roads north of Dessie. In the south patriot forces with Bi'itish officers surrounded Bako, where the strength of the Italian garrison is not known here.—B.O.W.
