MISSING AIRCRAFT

CROSS-COUNTRY FLIGHT

A Royal New Zealand Air Force aircraft and its occupant, L.A.C. Selwyn Allan Sinclair, were reported missing last night by Air Headquarters.

L.A.C. Sinclair was on a crosscountry flight from Blenheim to Stephens Island, and Otaki, and back to Blenheim. He was due back at Blenheim at 11.15 a.m. yesterday, but failed to arrive. A number of aircraft went out to search, and returned at dusk without result.
