Good efforts over five were those of Pitmark lmin 8 3-ssec, War Credit lmin 9 3-ssec, and Manahau lmin 9 3-ssec. Sweet Anne came home easily to run half a mile in 55 4-ssec, and Ringless averaged 14sec to the furlong for a similar task. Squeers and Henry of Huntingdon were a couple of lengths in front of Ara at the end of five furlongs in lmin llsec, Selkirk and Colerica registering lmin 13sec. Flying Spray ran three in 42sec.
