CONTINUITY OF SUPPLIES
A conference of the National Executive, of the Coal Mine Owners' Association and the United Mine Workers, held in Wellington yesterday, passed a motion expressing determination.to do' all ml its power to ensure that the production of coal is maintained at the highest possible level in order to fulfil the industrial and domestic needs: of the Dominion. The conference pledged itself to co-operate whole-heartedly with the Government to\ secure "a continuity of s work at the mines and the adoption of constitutional methods in. dealing with any disputes that, may arise. . ■ /■''..".•.''■
