COLONEL MURRAY'S CAREER

Colonel Murray had had a long and distinguished military career, commencing from 1900, when he served with the Royal Army Medical Corps in the South African War. His service in New Zealand dates from 1908.: In 1914 he was sent overseas as Officer Commanding No. 2 Field Ambulance.
