LONDON, May 2,
A Rome message says that, as a reprisal for the seizure of ten Italian merchantmen in Mexican ports, Italy has seized three motor-ships that are being constructed in Italian yards for the Mexican Government.—U.P.A,

The Jrak commanding officer at Habbania sent a peremptory message to the Royal Air Force commander that training should be discontinued as long as Britain failed to keep to the terms of the treaty between Britain and Irak.
The Administration's change of attitude seems to be due to Axis promptings. The Administration earlier liberated several of the men who had been imprisoned for participating in the attack on the British Consul at Mosul and for the murder of a Consul in
1939, which • German agents had inspired. -
The Italian Minister is remaining in Bagdad. The Administration's attitude""is not remotely consonant with the treaty
obligations,
The British Ambassador, as a precaution, brought British non-combat-ants into the legation.
There is evidence that the Irak Administration gave facilities for the passage of "German tourists" into Syria, where they are. intriguing with the leaders of pan-Arabism.—U.P.A.
