MISSING U-BOAT ACE

REPORT CONFIRMED

LONDON, May 2,

Reuter today confirms from neutral sources in Berlin that Kapitan-Lieu-tenant Prien, one of Germany's best Üboat .commanders, has been missing since April 13. He was the man who Sank the Royal Oak at Scapa Flow, and. the Germans claimed many successes for him against merchant shipping. If he is now missing, the Germans have lost all three of their ace Üboat commanders. Of the other two one is a prisoner in Britain, and the other is dead.
