WITHDRAWAL EXPECTED

The Peking correspondent of the Domei news agency reports that the United States is expected to withdraw its garrison forces soon from north China, with the first batch of 70 from Peking and 50 from Tientsin leaving on May 15 from Chinwangtao for Manila, via Shanghai. Marines, who number 200 at Peking and 230 at Tientsin, are also expected to withdraw soon.
