DE LUXE THEATRE.

Tomorrow's Changes,

The most impressive cast to date for a "Maisie" picture is to be found in "Maisie Was a Lady," latest in the popular series, which opens tomorrow at the De Luxe Theatre, with Ann Sothern in the title role, and Lew Ayres, Maureen O'Sullivan, and C. Aubrey Smith heading the list of supporting players. Miss Sothern brings her customary zest and sparkle to the the role of the wise-cracking stranded showgirl, who this time loses her job as the "Headless Woman" in a carnival sideshow due to the antics of inebriate playboy Ayres, for whom the role is an interesting departure from his "Dr. Kildare" roles. Paramount's "All Girls Are Alike," the associate film, is a football story. Different in theme from the usual football pictures, it has Wayne Morris in a dual role, a twin brother, and the two Wayne Morrises have everyone on the edge of their seats most of the time. In this dual role the blonde and blue-eyed Wayne looks every inch the football player. As a brilliant student, his other self, he has a romance with the blonde- and beautiful Virginia Dale. As the football star he also romances with Virginia and auburn Lillian Cornell who also sings some songs well.
