LONDON TAKES ACTION
BASE AGAINST THE ALLIES
LONDON. April 7,
A major development in the war is the news that Great Britain has broken off diplomatic relations with Hungary. This is because Hungary lias now become a base for operations acainst the Allies.
The British Government has decided to withdraw its mission to Hungar3r, and the Hungarian Minister in London, who called at the Foreign Office this afternoon, was informed of the British decision.
The Hungarian Government todaybroadcast instructions to its Legation in Belgrade. As there is no telegraph or telephone communication with Belgrade, the Government gave its instructions to the Hungarian Minister in this way to make an energetic protest to the Yugoslav Foreign Minister against Yugoslav air attacks on Pecs and Szeged.
