MOBILE CANTEEN

* SHOP ASSISTANTS' GIFT

Yet another mobile canteen has been given to the overseas forces, the donors being the members of the New Zealand Shop Assistants' Federation, every one of whom has contributed. The decision was made at the meeting of the federation's executive council on March 18.

The secretary of the National Patriotic Fund Board, Mr. G. A. Hayden, has gratefully acknowledged the gift.
