The Bangkok correspondent of the "Yomiuri Shimbun,' referring again to the alleged negotiations for a BritishChungking alliance to obstruct!
Japan's southward advance, states that the proposed alliance would be aimed at establishing joint British-Chinese defence of the Far East and providing for the enlistment of Chinese in the South Seas in the British Army.
