FIGHT FOR LIBERTY

THE CHINESE PEOPLE

WARNING FROM MOSCOW

LONDON, February 16.

Comment on the war between China and Japan has appeared in the Russian journal "Bolshevik," which says that the war of the Chinese people for national liberation against Japanese aggression is just. "It is a struggle' for democratic liberty," says the paper.

It adds this warning: "Our principle of a peace policy in no wise excludes the possibility of the Red Army attacking in the strategical military sense. Lenin and Stalin preach that the best defence is offensive against the enemy, destroying the enemy in his own territory." •
