A night communique reports successful local fighting at an altitude of 6000 feet and the dislodging ot the enemy from important position;-,. Some prisoners and automatic rifles were captured

Greek anti-aircraft guns shot down three Italian planes.

LONDON, February 12

The Greeks operating in the coastal sector made a considerable advance, and in the northern sector occupied a mountain 6500 feet high. The Greeks are also reported to have captured new heights to the north-west of Trebesina.

Headquarters of the British forces in Greece reports that the town of Topeleni has been successfully attacked by . R.A.F. bombers and also military stores north-west of the town. Bombs were seen to explode a .o:ig store buildings "at Tepeleni, on the main road, and between two warehouses. ' ■ •

An Athens communique says good weather assisted the Greek air operations. The Greeks bombed enemy positions behind the lines, inflicting considerable losses. The Italians have lost 23 planes in three days.
